Why blog?

Age is an interesting thing...As you slowly creep up in years, more friends are telling you stories about who they are getting married to vs. who they met last night. With time, you suddenly realize that more of the people you know are having babies than getting married

When it dawned on me that more than five people i know are having babies this year and I had spent the last 8 months amassing tiny little snippets of information on my own that it might be a good time to spread what little knowledge I have.

Baby Shower!

Over the last weekend of February, we had a blast as the extended family got together to throw Laxmi a baby shower at a local restaurant. It was a great chance to see all the family members and get inundated with baby products in spite of the horrible map quest directions.

20 Week Ultrasound

Our ultrasound at the 20th week of the pregnancy -- around early december. At the ultrasound we learned that Junior is in fact a boy -- much to l's surprise
